Writer Wednesday: 20 Scifi/Fantasy Writing Prompts

I find that writing prompts help me dust out the mental cobwebs or when I've been working on one story for a while and need a change to help keep me from getting completely bored. Here are some Sci-Fi/Fantasy Writing Prompts to help:

1. The High Queen slid through the hidden passage to meet with her imprisoned love.

2. The chef ran through the night, clutching the son of the assassinated king.

3. The superstitious natives thought the comet was a dying god...

4. Its eyes were dead black, like those of a shark, and when it smiled, the resemblance was even stronger...

5. It moved on gossamer wings...

6. Sometimes, the dragon falls in love with the princess.

7. You're a young adventurer tasked with finding and slaying a dragon. You find its lair only to find yourself trapped inside with a dragon that seems to have taken a romantic interest in you.

8. Alien fighters screamed through the sky...

9. The asteroid base served as secret way station for rebels...

10. There was no bartender, just some kind of weird fluid dispenser...

11. A limitless curtain of night extended beyond our world.

12. The stars were our home now...

13. The Moon Mother’s children were restless to kill...

14. The chase was only exceeded by the thrill of fangs tearing warm meat...

15. As he transformed, his mind became small and hungry...

16. Dragon scales were as thick as a knight’s shield, and twice as strong

17. Her life drained out under his unholy kiss...

18. The jade stone amulet had been sculpted in the shape of a dragon...

19. The leader wore a sinister skull mask made of ancient metal...

20. Love potions were in high demand...

Hope you enjoy these and be creative!
